Smiles surround us. Unexpectedly, everyday, interacting with loved ones and strangers, friends and family, we smile. A smile is powerful, encouraging, and welcoming. It can win friends and attract company, or encourage a passer-by. Whether you realize it or not, you notice peoples teeth every day – for most it’s the first thing they look at when they see a person and that impression. By that smile, you evaluate that person.
However, your own dental health may not be at the forefront of your mind. The smile is everywhere, yet it frequently is given little thought. Busy with life, many people unintentionally fail to care for their teeth and oral disease develops.
The good news is most oral diseases are preventable with proper oral hygiene and regular care. As a fourth year dental student, it is my goal to help patients restore the quality of their oral health, helping patients understand the importance of maintaining oral hygeine for overall well-being, achieving the high quality smile they desire for their lifetime.
I look forward to helping you develop a smile you are proud of.

Burton Coleman
